Miriam Bennouna, born on April 22, 1980 in Jena, is a passionate photographer whose work is characterized by sensitivity, creativity, and artistic refinement. She discovered her love of photography as a child—initially in front of the camera, later behind the lens, where she found her true passion.

After an initial career in the hotel industry, Miriam decided to give her creativity more space and completed a thorough training as a photographer. This is where she laid the foundation for her craft: image composition, lighting, and the skillful use of shadows became second nature to her.

Miriam has been passing on her knowledge as a lecturer since 2010. To deepen her teaching skills, she also completed training as a Trainer with federal professional certificateSince then, she has enthusiastically accompanied photography enthusiasts on their journey — at schools, workshops, and professional events.

Miriam's photographic style thrives on the art of making emotions tangible. Her images tell stories, invite the viewer to linger, and challenge the viewer's gaze in a unique, often very personal way.
