Return of the Bearded Vulture to the Alps

The bearded vulture is back in the Alps. Hansruedi Weyrich has been photographing this species and the habitat in which this majestic bird lives for a number of years. In addition to a report on the release of the young birds Sempbach, Trudi and Ewolina into the wild in 2015 on the Frutt (Obwalden), he documents the work of the biologists with the young birds. 2015 was the most successful bearded vulture year in Switzerland with 11 wild broods and 3 released young birds. In addition to a lot of important information about bearded vultures, Hansruedi also shows photos of Alpine Accentors and golden eagles, which can also be observed in this alpine habitat.
