Colors of nature
Yellowstone NP, USA
Details from the hot springs in Yellowstone National Park. Fascinating colors and shapes, caused by various thermophilic bacteria and algae. The magma chamber below the park is around 80 km long, 40 km wide and 10 km deep. Thus the Yellowstone volcano belongs to the group of super volcanoes.
