“Whoever looks outside dreams, who looks inside awakens” CG Jung
For the most part, we imitate socially formed roles. The more perfect the performance, the less we question the "actor". we don't ask ourselves whether we are being lied to, but whether the other person is lying credibly. Although we want to remain independent in our roles, it is important to us to play them as perfectly as possible.
Our faces adapt to our roles over time. We are born as individuals, build character and become the person who plays a role. Some play different roles consciously, virtuously and imaginatively, others one-dimensional and clumsy. The latter often leads to the exclusion of everything that does not fit into their role behavior.
But how free are we in our choice of roles, which really influences our mask so much? Is it the dreams that guide us? Is it upbringing or is it genes that guide us?

The staging before the actual shoot is characteristic of our work. Based on various objects and materials, we create backdrops for the pictures and create imaginative, often somewhat absurd and surreal worlds.
It is our conscious decision to create scenarios for real and not on a computer screen. Thanks to this technique, our pictures never appear artificial.
