Cave of Drones
The exhibition "Cave of Drones" shows footage from the last 3 years by Mathias Kniepeiss, the official photographer of the Drone Champions League. The DCL is one of the fastest sports in the world, making it extremely difficult to photograph.
With an acceleration from 0 to 100 in 1,5 seconds and a top speed of up to 160 km/h, the quadrocopters are steered through a three-dimensional racetrack using first person view glasses.

Mathias Kniepeiss is a trained designer and has been working as a professional photographer in the fields of sports, industry, reports, portraits, advertising and costume production since 2003. In over 50 countries around the world, he took photos as a team photographer for Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Toro Rosso in Formula 1, as a reportage photographer for international agencies, as the organizer of the Hahnenkamm ski race, as the official photographer of the Drone Champions League, and much more
