Cascades

The series I am presenting to you is taken from my book entitled Cascades. The recordings were made in the gorges of Ticino. The night circulates from side to side, dissolving an imaginary space haunted by my past as a caver. If the poet's art derives from his ability to become a stranger - and therefore allow himself to be surprised - here one needed to see less to see differently. You had to dive into the twilight to experience the sensual dialogue between rock and water in an almost tangible closeness. A physical and sensitive dialogue. No speech in these pictures, sensuality.
