Passionate Denisa
The exhibition "Passionate Denisa" is a tribute to Denisa Strakova, who was my model for these two series. Of the more than 130 models I have worked with throughout my photographic career, she is probably the most passionate in terms of professional consistency.
I was lucky that some of these models accepted my ideas and concepts with great commitment, implemented them and developed them further. But I don't know of any model that relies so completely on modeling without a plan for "afterwards" as they do.
The series “Dance with tree” (10 pictures) and “The scream” (5 pictures) were created during our first joint shooting during a Corona break in summer 2021.
In "Dance with tree" I wanted to address our increasingly disturbed relationship with nature. To do this, I painted the background, the branches and also the model with white and grey paint to indicate an original connection with the "primordial ooze". In "The scream" the focus was on fighting against the accelerating dynamics of our time. Both times Denisa was fully involved in the topic and implemented it with passionate dynamism. Thank you Denisa for this gift.

I mainly photograph in the field of staged people photography. My commercial focus is on portraits for private individuals and companies and FineART photo prints. I also teach photography in my own course, in workshops and as a coach.
In my free photographic work I deal with all facets of human expression, of face and body.
My goal is to touch people and evoke emotions with my pictures.
I am particularly fascinated by conceptual photography in series and sequences. Telling a story with one or more images and thereby conveying emotions is, for me, the most fascinating thing about photography.
