Kinshasa, Congo. The city is huge and chaotic.
She immediately corrects the certainties of every member of the theatre troupe from Geneva who had been invited to participate in the school theatre festival «Les Joucotej».
It's a blow to the neck, and what follows seems hopeless.
In front of and behind the stages of the festival, the creative transcendence of the filmmakers ignites enthusiasm and makes one think only of the beautiful things.
The Geneva team remains confronted with a reality they had not imagined – a reality that shapes them and quietly shifts their points of reference.

David Wagnières, born in 1967, lives and works in Geneva as a photographer and iconographer.
His current practice is rooted in expressive and color-intensive photography, which has developed through commissions in the fields of documentation and communication, as well as through regular collaborations with the press.
His work examines the contradictions, paradoxes, and incompatibilities at work in contemporary environments, generating visual or interpersonal tensions. Based on these situations, he develops a reflection on archetypes, the off-screen (that which lies outside the picture plane), and the mechanisms of representation, situating his approach within an analytical and critical engagement with reality.
