Look closely, the beautiful thing lies before you.

A striking building, a surprising perspective, or an unexpectedly beautiful spot can be found everywhere – if you only know where to look. On my wanderings through my region, I constantly stumble upon places that aren't necessarily classically beautiful or touristically noteworthy, but which captivate me with their form, color, or atmosphere. I want to bring such "blind spots" into focus and give them expression. The image features my friend Oona, whose presence brings the place to life. She contrasts with the emptiness, plays with the forms, or blends into the evocative world of colors.
