Architecture - clear and less clear lines

I am particularly fascinated by the simple: straight lines, light colors and symmetry. It has this calm, power, and perfection. In contrast, there are older buildings and facades with many curves, ornate and magnificently decorated elements. Can also be beautiful; but mostly it looks cluttered and ostentatious. In this exhibition, I want to show these opposites.

basil gilgen - portrait author_300Photography has been my great passion since 2013. Initially only digital, I am now drawn more and more to the analogue side. This way you approach photography in a completely different way, as you only have a limited number of images on one film. And waiting for the envelope from the photo lab when you see your pictures for the first time is something very special. In addition to architecture, I also like to photograph landscapes and travel.
