Music improvisation for four photo shows
Members of the Münsingen Photo Club and some friendly photo clubs provided the organizer with photos from which four series of images were put together. The musician Wieslaw Pipczynski will be able to watch the series shortly before his performances. Afterwards he will freely improvise on his instruments to accompany the ongoing photo shows. He takes on the role of the cinema pianist from the silent film era, but now accompanies still images. We are curious about its sonic associations.

Plays piano, organ, harpsichord, accordion, electronic keyboard instruments and theremin.
In addition to his teaching activities, he provides musical accompaniment for silent films (including: Lichtspiel, Bern, Berlin Silent Film Festival in the German Historical Museum 2010, Swiss premiere of the newly restored entire length of the silent film “Metropolis” by Fritz Lang in Zurich and Berlin).
Wieslaw Pipczynski is highly valued as a reliable musical partner by well-known soloists from home and abroad.
His varied activities also include the musical supervision of church services. He always enjoys playing in the circus orchestra at the famous circus festival in Monte Carlo.
In Bern, Wieslaw Pipczynski is known and loved by his stage name “Pip”.
