Eyes of Africa

Eyes are a window to the soul. You can see the character and state of mind directly in the eyes. The portraits, which are formally very simply composed and kept in black and white, are intended to get to the heart of the essence of African wildlife without distraction. In addition to animals from the savannah, I will show a few other works from adjacent habitats with our closest relatives. “Morning Bliss” is the last picture I was able to take in continental Africa in spring 2020 before Corona.
